Pavel Kotov's scorching 2026 form, including three Challenger titles—most recently Wuning the week prior where he went 5-0 on hard courts and won his last 10 matches—positions him as trader consensus favorite over Yi Zhou in the Busan Challenger Round of 32 on outdoor hard. The 27-year-old Russian (#262) leads their head-to-head 1-0 on hard from a 2024 Beijing 1R win, bringing far more experience (301-210 career) against the 21-year-old Chinese riser (#220, 9-8 YTD hard). Zhou reached a Phan Thiet 2 final earlier but exited Wuning R16; no injury concerns reported pre-match, though Asia swing familiarity aids him in this competitive matchup.
