Mees Rottgering enters the Dublin Challenger as the clear favorite against local wild card Peter Buldorini due to a substantial ranking gap and stronger recent results on the Challenger circuit. The 18-year-old Dutch left-hander reached a career-high near 416 and secured his maiden Challenger win in Lugano by saving multiple match points, while Buldorini, ranked outside the top 900 with a career high of 685, has competed mostly at ITF M15/M25 level. As an Irish player receiving home support in Dublin, Buldorini could benefit from crowd energy on the indoor surface, though Rottgering’s superior experience and form in higher-level events shape the current trader consensus reflected in pricing.
