In the ATP Challenger Tunis on clay, No. 225 Federico Cina faces No. 312 Maxim Mrva in the first round, a rematch of their July 2025 Trieste Challenger encounter where Mrva prevailed 6-4, 7-5 as a qualifier against Cina's wild card. Cina holds the ranking edge with an 11-10 record this year, including a recent Rome Masters qualifying loss to Alexander Blockx, while Mrva (18 years old) enters off mixed Challenger results like an Ostrava defeat and shows promise on clay. Both Next Gen prospects boast strong junior pedigrees, with no reported injuries; trader consensus reflects a tight stylistic matchup favoring baseline rallies, rest advantages absent, and Tunis's outdoor conditions likely warm and dry.
