Alvaro Guillen Meza, ranked No. 230 with a career-high of 175, holds a substantial edge over wild card Josip Simundza (No. 765) in their ATP Challenger Zagreb Open Round of 32 clash on outdoor clay courts starting May 11. Guillen Meza, an alternate entrant, seeks a rebound after a 7-5, 6-2 first-round loss to No. 181 Clement Chidekh in last week's Francavilla Challenger on clay, underscoring his baseline experience at this level. Simundza, a 21-year-old Croatian lefty, enters via home wild card off a recent ITF M25 defeat in Italy, with limited Challenger exposure. No head-to-head exists, but trader sentiment reflects Guillen Meza's superior rankings, clay proficiency, and form against lower-ranked foes, tempered by Simundza's local support and stylistic variance.
