Liam Broady holds a significant edge over Matthew Dellavedova in their first-round Jiujiang Challenger matchup on outdoor hard courts, reflecting trader consensus on Broady's No. 221 ranking versus Dellavedova's No. 448, superior 2026 hard-court record of 17-7, and recent Miyazaki Challenger title win over Harry Wendelken. Dellavedova enters as a lucky loser after dominating Q1 6-0 6-3 over Yusuke Kusuhara but falling in Q2 to Daniel Masur 6-3 6-2, capping a 20-15 season highlighted by an M15 Maanshan final. No head-to-head history exists; Broady's left-handed game and experience against qualifiers bolster his position, though upsets remain possible in Challenger play amid mild weather conditions.
