Carlos Alcaraz's withdrawal from the 2026 French Open due to a right wrist injury—confirmed last week after missing Madrid and Rome—has propelled Jannik Sinner to a dominant 67% implied probability as trader consensus favorite, following his Monte-Carlo Masters title win over Alcaraz two weeks ago that reclaimed the world No. 1 ranking and showcased improved clay-court baseline depth and serve effectiveness. Alexander Zverev, at 7.5%, emerges as the primary challenger with his semifinal run at Monte Carlo and strong Roland Garros history as a two-time finalist, while Novak Djokovic's 6% reflects selective clay prep amid age-related form questions at nearly 39. French prospects Arthur Fils and Lorenzo Musetti gain slight edges from recent momentum and home-crowd support on the slower Paris surface.
